Yoshitsuga TATEKAWA
Yoshitsuga Tatekawa was a Japanese military officer and politician who served as the Minister of War from 1931 to 1934. He was a key figure in the Japanese military's expansionist policies in the 1930s, and he was instrumental in the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1931.
Tatekawa was born in 1874 in Yamagata Prefecture. He graduated from the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1896 and served in the Japanese military for over 30 years. He held a number of important military positions, including Chief of the General Staff and Minister of War.
